After pitiful ratings last year, the 51st Grammy Awards tried to regain cultural capital on Sunday night by nominating a mix of risk-taking talent like M.I.A. and Lil' Wayne with popular performers like ColdPlay and Robert Plant. Never a shrinking violet, Katy Perry rocked the red carpet in this tight, baby pink gown. Not a dress many could pull off, Perry's confidence was the trick that allowed her to carry off this stunning design. The pretty bunched flower dotted with sparkly jewels and the ultra-feminine colour balanced the super-tight sexy cut.
