Every year it is the most watched red carpet on the planet, and while this year many of the guests brought some serious glamour, there were those in attendance who should have double checked with their stylists. Here’s a look at a few stars who particularly underwhelmed on the 82nd annual Oscar red carpet.

I can’t tell you how disappointed I was to see fashionable favourite Sarah Jessica Parker walk the Oscar red carpet in this confusing Chanel haute couture gown. Karl Lagerfeld’s frumpy pale yellow silk gown with its crazy embroidered silver bodice had heads turning as the actress and her husband Matthew Broderick walked the red carpet runway… and not in a good way.
