Carey Mulligan For the past week everyone has been talking about how Carey Mulligan had announced her plans to unintentionally diss Anna Wintour’s advice to wear a short gown to the Oscar festivities. Carey claimed she had dreamed of her Oscar gown since she was a little girl and opted for this funky black Prada gown that was embellished with tiny charms in the shape of knives, forks and scissors. The punk rock inspired charms are totally bizarre but it’s the awkward length that really kills this look. Poor Carey really should have listened to Queen Anna’s advice.
