Music award shows always promise wacky fashions on the red carpet, and last week’s MTV Europe Awards certainly didn’t disappoint our Style Winners & Losers columnists.

Eva Mendes
Steph: Oh yay Chris! Here’s a snap of my favourite Eva looking like a sexy, modernized fairy-tale princess. The multi-coloured Chris Benz dress glitters even in the absence of sunlight and feels magical, fresh and slightly saucy all at once. It’s safe to say celebs are already embracing festive season dresses as people like Eva flock to creations that shimmer and dazzle like holiday lights and expensive wrapping paper.
Her Verdict: Style Winner
Christopher: I knew you were going to love this flashy number that Eva wore to the AFI screening of The Bad Lieutenant: Port Of Call New Orleans in Hollywood last week. Realistically, the glittering dress could have been a disaster, but Eva manages to give it some serious sex appeal. I mean, check out that cleavage.
