Who the hell are Christopher and Stephanie?

They've been told they're the cause of war in the world and they've been called every name under the sun. So, who are the people behind Style Winners and Losers? The easy answer: they're two normal writers who happen to have an intense passion for fashion.

Christopher Turner is the resident red carpet style guru at Sympatico.ca. A lifelong fashionisto, the Toronto-based writer got a taste for the glamorous life during his stint as a model in Milan and New York. Not just a pretty face, Christopher has an honors BA in Literature from the University of Toronto and eventually gave up modelling for writing. He is a well respected fashion and style writer and his thoughts have appeared in a number of diverse publications throughout the years. Currently Christopher is one half of Canada’s most popular red carpet style column, Style Winners and Losers, and can be found daily at the new fashion blog www.fashionist.ca.

Steph McGrath has been writing about celebs and their outfits professionally for about 10 years now. She's been obsessed with clothing and accessories since birth. She currently lives and works in Halifax, N.S., and if she makes it home without stopping at her favourite boutique every day...it's a miracle.

I find it ironic that we see pictures of stars but the pics of Steph & Chris only show their heads. Lets see your sence of fashion and let us be the judge of them. Will you be a style winner or loser?

Steph is awsome, i love how she doesn't always agree with Chris, it makes it more interesting and to bad if she's sarcastic atleast she has a personaliy and her own opinion

Ok, I don't dislike Steph, but I miss Mel. Christopher and Steph agree too much. I loved the bantering that went on between Mel and Christopher. I loved it when they disagreed! And there weren't nearly as many winners when Mel was around! Seems Christopher and Steph like anything and everything. I will, of course, continue to tune in! I love Style Winners and Losers!

I think Steph and Chris are a hoot and I enjoy their comments on the celeb outfits. I don't always agree with their verdicts, but love seeing the star "get-ups" (as my grandmother used to say) and reading the more-often-than-not dead on assessments. Some of the losers need help and I hope they read S & C's notes! I've lived in Toronto and Halifax, so to me, this is a link to both homes while I bask in the sunny south.

I think that the both of these so called fashionista's are a load of crap. They don't have a lick of fashion sense at all. I can't believe that these people get paid for there crap. All they are worth is the fact that there are a load of useless insignificant people out there in this world with nothing else to do, but read their CRAP, and crap on everyone, just to make themselves feel better. Get a life people and maybe this world might be a little bit better.

No matter what people say- you two put it all out there and I am proud that you are fashion experts from Canada. Love to read all your comments (even if I may not agree with all of them), good and bad it's all entertaining, keep it up! To all those who bash you two, they should take a look in the mirror and realize that they are far from being fashion experts themselves. You're honest and generally have good fashion sense. You guys have it going on!

I read Style Winners and Losers every week and cannot wait for it to come out. Christopher, I have to say that I relate more to your fashion opinios than to Steph's. I just feel like I cannot relate to her. Although I believe in giving people a chance, I think her chance has gone on long enough. Like what is with this weeks opinion of Perez Hilton??? EWEWEW!!

I must admit I am not a fan of Stephanie thus far. Her comments seem to go beyond sarcasm to outright rude. And some of the outfits branded 'winners'? (e.g. Rachelle LeFervre this week). My friends and I have better fashion sense, and we are graduate students. Biology graduate students.

You guys are horrible. Nothing's wrong with Steph. She's stating her opinion. Is it wrong that because of YOUR childish perspective towards her you find her annoying. Nope. She's young still so her choice of words is different. Who said she had to go full out professional ? Personally, I don't find anything wrong with her besides the fact that some of her judgements I disagree with. Otherwise, she's alright. Oh and by the way this is coming from a 15 year old. Get at me :)
