Onalee Orchard is an oil and gas engineer from Calgary, and won the chance to be a guest writer for this week’s Style Winner & Losers on fashionism.ca! She thinks it’s funny that an engineer gets to comment on fashion, but then again, she did have that flying pig dream the other night.... She loves her job because it allows her to add to her shoe collection, plus work is a great place to show off all the new finds. Having grown up on a farm, fashion wasn’t really her top priority, however at an early age she knew the good from the bad. She knew she loved Princess Diana’s dresses and shoes, which she saw in books given to her by her mom. Now that she’s a big city girl (big for her!), keeping up with the new fashion trends has become her second job. She thinks that Anne Hathaway can do no wrong, and that Melissa and Christopher are the best things to ever happen to her Tuesday nights. TGIT. Seriously.
